What is on the sheet
20 subtraction problems for 4th grade, each one inside its own little picture frame. Every problem needs regrouping: at least one column has a smaller top digit, so students borrow from the next place value. Kids who finish early can color the frames, and the full answer key is printed on page 2.
How to get the most out of it
- Always subtract the ones first.
- When the top digit is smaller, borrow one from the next place and add ten to the current column.
- Check each answer by adding it to the bottom number; you should get the top number.
