What is on the sheet

20 addition problems for 4th grade, each one inside its own little picture frame. Every problem needs regrouping: at least one column adds up to 10 or more, so students carry a ten to the next column. Kids who finish early can color the frames, and the full answer key is printed on page 2.

How to get the most out of it

• Start with the ones column, then move left.
• Write the carried 1 small above the next column so it is not forgotten.
• Estimate first: round both numbers to the nearest ten to check the answer is close.
